RESEARCHERS

Alfred Peris Manguillot is a University Full Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and a member of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics of the Universitat Politècnica de València. He has been a corresponding member of the Société Royale des Sciences de Liège (Belgium) since 1997 and received the SRSL’s Lucien Godeaux Prize in 1996. His research areas are functional analysis, dynamical systems and operator theory with applications in chaotic behavior of semigroups of operators associated with certain linear PDEs and the infinite systems of ordinary differential equations.

Marina Murillo Arcila is a University Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and a member of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics of the Universitat Politècnica de València. Her research areas are functional analysis, operator theory, and fractional calculus. She is especially interested in linear dynamics in infinite-dimensional spaces and in the study of the regularity of partial differential equations.

Carmen Fernández Rosell is a University Full Professor in the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the Universitat de València. Her research areas are functional analysis and time-frequency analysis.

Antonio Galbis Verdú is a University Full Professor in the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the Universitat de València. His current research focuses on time-frequency analysis and related topics such as operator theory, Fourier analysis, and functional analysis. He is also interested in applications for the study of electrocardiogram signals.

Domingo García Rodríguez is a University Full Professor in the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the Universitat de València. He spent two sabbatical years, one at the State University of Campinas (Brazil) and another at Kent State University (USA). He has the positive evaluation of the ANECA of five six-year research periods. His specific research interests are complex analysis of infinite variables and several complex variables.

Manuel Maestre Vera is a University Full Professor in the Department of Mathematical Analysis at the Universitat de València and a corresponding member of the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences of Madrid since 2014. He has carried out long research stays at different universities in Argentina, Germany, Ireland, South Korea and the USA. In addition, he has been the director of several research grants, department director, degree studies coordinator, etc. His lines of research are the complex analysis of infinite variables and several complex variables.

Félix Martínez Jiménez is a tenure University Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and a member of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics of the Universitat Politècnica de València. His research areas are functional analysis and operator theory. He is especially interested in linear dynamics in infinite-dimensional spaces, in particular on the notions of hypercyclicity and chaos.

Francisco Rodenas Escribá is a University Full Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and a member of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics of the Universitat Politècnica de València. His research areas are discrete and continuous dynamical systems and operator theory. He is also interested in the chaotic behaviour of numerical schemes associated with certain linear PDEs.
